Experience

Experience is earned from participating in battles, both in dungeons and scenario areas, as well as in the Arena and Trial of Ascension. It is required to level up both monsters, as well as players.

The amount of experience gained by monsters in battle is determined by several factors, such as the difficulty or stage number of the scenario or dungeon area respectively, as well as the number of monsters in a party, since more monsters means experience is more heavily divided. As monsters increase in level, the amount of experience needed to level up also increases. As well, grade or star rating also determines rate of leveling, as higher grade monsters require more experience to level up.
